MTH-0992 - Elementary Algebra Skills and Concepts I* (0) Prerequisite: MTH-0991 or appropriate math placement test score Students in this course learn elementary algebra skills that, along with MTH 0993 and MTH 0994, prepare them for college level mathematics required in scientific, business, or teacher educations fields. Topics include solving application problems using linear equations and inequalities, solving and graphing linear inequalities in one variable, graphing linear equations and inequalities in two variables, and writing equations of lines.
