MCT-1010 - Introduction to Mechatronics (3)

Prerequisite: Take one course:

Students will learn the basic electronics and electrical drives in mechatronic systems. Topics presented include AC and DC fundamentals, reading simple schematics and wiring diagrams, AC and DC motors, basic motor control circuits, and simple programming of a microcontroller. Students use the laboratory extensively to learn the operation of electronic test equipment and to setup, control, and troubleshoot AC and DC motors.
