Having business expertise alongside information technology qualifications is a rare combination.  In today’s business world, that is exactly what employers are looking for in their employees.  A degree in Computer Information Systems is designed to provide students the skills they need to advance in this field.  By bridging the gap between the computer world and the business world, students will bring a unique blend of experience to any business organization.  This degree prepares students in the areas of information systems, systems analysis and design, databases, accounting, statistics, business law, economics, project management and computer networking. This program is fully available online.

Computer Information Systems students are not required to complete BAD-1335 nor ECN-1015 prior to taking ECN-2020

The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 47.

Students will

  4. Work as part of a team to analyze, design, and develop computer information systems in real-world scenarios
  5. Compute, analyze, and interpret financial, statistical, and economic data and information
  6. Create and edit communications using word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
