The Arts and Sciences Associate of Arts program differs from its program options in the distribution of electives. Students may select, for concentration, either the Arts and Sciences program or any of the program options that are listed alphabetically throughout the Programs of Study section. The Arts and Sciences program options are as follows:

For the recent high school graduates or returning students who plan to transfer to the upper division of a college or university to earn a bachelor of arts or bachelor of science degree, this 60-credit program offers a broad-based curriculum drawn from the range of  disciplines traditional to college-level liberal arts education.

Through the distribution of courses that embrace many aspects of world thought, culture, and technology, the program will encourage in each student the intellectual flexibility and adaptability required in a rapidly changing society and job market.

This program is fully available online.

The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 45.
