EGR-1440 - Embedded Systems (4) Students will learn the internal organization of a common processor used for embedded applications and develop code utilizing assembly and C programming languages. Fundamental concepts such as interrupt handling, dynamic memory management, I/O subsystems and debugging are explored. Laboratory activities include interfacing the processor to external devices utilizing GPIO ports, I2C and A/D ports. Real time operating systems will also be explored.
