MAS-1001 - Introduction to Massage Therapy* (2)

Prerequisite: RDG 0800
This course provides an overview of the massage therapy profession. Topics include the history, benefits, and contraindications of massage, self-care, basic hygiene, sanitation, and infection control. Students are introduced to therapeutic massage principles, massage draping, and equipment procedures. Students must pass this course with a minimum grade of C or better to continue with the full program in massage therapy.
