Students critically examine global human history and explore the social, religious, intellectual, political, economic, and cultural heritage of world civilizations, including Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe, from 1600 to the present. This course satisfies the General Education Humanities requirement and the Core Competency for Cultural and Global Awareness.
