CHE-1230L - Principles of Organic and Biochemistry Lab* (S) (1)

Co-requisite: CHE 1230

Topics in lecture are reinforced with laboratory experiments. Students investigate the physical and chemical properties of organic molecules such as hydrocarbons, alcohols, esters, lipids and amino acids. In addition, macromolecules such as carbohydrates, protein, and DNA are also studied. Emphasis is placed on data analysis and interpretation. This course satisfies the General Education Physical Science requirement.
