ENG-0900 - Introduction to Composition (0)

Prerequisite: Pass ENG 0800 or placement – Must be completed prior to taking this course.
Students in this course prepare for college-level writing. Students concentrate on developing writing skills needed to continue on to ENG 1010 , Composition and Rhetoric. Through consideration of audience and purpose, students write unified, coherent paragraphs and essays that express ideas effectively and are mostly free of grammatical, mechanical, and structural errors. Students receive grades of pass (P) or fail (F). This course is noncredit but has credit equivalency for calculation of tuition, fees, financial assistance, and athletic eligibility.
