HST-1036 - The US and 20th Century World Affairs* (H) (3) Prerequisite: RDG 0800 Students survey the history of American foreign relations in the 20th century through the study of key domestic and international factors and events. The course examines the relationship between the United States and the world community by evaluating the social, political, economic, military and cultural changes that led to the American Century when the United States became the dominant world power. Students who have completed HST-2050 cannot receive credit for HST-1036. This course satisfies the General Education Humanities requirement and the Core Competency for Cultural and Global Awareness.
