BIO-1040 - Introduction to Human Anatomy and Physiology* (S) (3)

Prerequisite: MTH-0992 or MTH-0940 or higher; and Reading Placement; or RDG-0800; or take one of the following: IRW-0900A ; IRW-0900B ; IRW-0900C ; or HEA-1100
Students learn the structure and function of human systems. Topics include basic chemistry, cell structure and function, tissues, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary digestive, endocrine, and reproductive systems. This course satisfies the General Education Biological Science requirement.
