EDU-1030 - Activities in Early Childhood I (3) Prerequisite: EDU 1012 and EDU 1013
and Take Reading Placement or RDG-0800 or take one of the following: IRW-0900A, IRW-0900B, or IRW-0900C - Must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course.

Students explore the development of the holistic child through language, literacy, art, music, and indoor/outdoor play experiences. In this course, they plan developmentally appropriate activities in curriculum areas that stimulate cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development with young children, birth to age 8. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed based on their use of college-level reading, writing, and communication skills.
