EDU-1070 - Communication and the Preschool Child (3)

Prerequisite: Take EDU 1012 , EDU 1013 , and ENG 1010 or ENG 1010T .

Students explore the human development of language and speech in children from birth to upper elementary school. This includes methods to listen, speak, engage, and motivate young learners. Students will focus on appropriate responses and supports for communication. Students enrolled in this course will be assessed based on their use of college-level reading, writing, and communication skills.
