BAD-2130 - Social Entrepreneurship* (3) Prerequisite: Reading and Writing Placement; or ENG-0900 and RDG-0800; or take one of the following: IRW-0900A; IRW-0900B; or IRW-0900C and BAD-1520 or BAD-1015 or BAD-1210 or permission of chair This course introduces students to social entrepreneurship and the practice of designing innovative solutions to solve problems and drive social change. Mission-driven for-profit and non-profit ventures are explored in order for students to develop a socially conscious business mindset in launching a viable and scalable social enterprise.
