ITS-1960 - Introduction to Linux* (3)

Prerequisite: ITS-1055    
Students learn the basic concepts of the Linux operating system as it relates to computer hardware, software, and operations, including command syntax, file management and maintenance, and troubleshooting of user problems.  For students who plan to use personal computers, this course may have specific computing requirements.  Please refer to the Quick Link for Computing Requirements on the School of Professional and Technical Services webpage and Cybersecurity Center webpage.

CO1 - Install and configure a Linux distribution.

CO2 - Maintain and operate a Linux system.

CO3 - Configure and implement Linux applications and services.

CO4 - Deploy and troubleshoot Linux network services.

CO6 - Code, compile, and debug programs in the Linux environment.
