BAD-2630 - Social Media Marketing Strategy* (3)

Prerequisite: BAD-2610  
This course provides students with an understanding of how social media fits into an organization’s overall strategy.  Topics covered include integrated marketing strategies, techniques, technologies, and tools for creating effective social media campaigns. Additionally, students will discuss and evaluate the role of social media in the marketplace as well as the legal and ethical issues that may arise. 

List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections)
CO1 - Discuss the role of social media in an integrated marketing strategy identifying related legal and ethical issues to communicate its impact on businesses.

CO2 - Evaluate the effectiveness of real-world social media marketing strategies for various types of industries and businesses.

CO3 - Identify the major social media marketing portals that can be used to promote a company, brand, product, service or person.

CO4 - Create a social media marketing plan and track progress in achieving goals with a variety of measurement tools, services, and metrics.
