ITS-1055 - Introduction to Computing (3) Students learn the basics of computing technology with an emphasis on technology basics, Internet technologies, data, privacy, hardware, software applications, databases, networking, cybersecurity, troubleshooting, and coding. Hands-on projects include working in the cloud, database construction, and coding with Python. This course helps students prepare for the CompTIA Tech+ entry-level industry exam. Students with an active CompTIA Tech+ certification should speak to an advisor about credit for prior learning. Students that have taken ITS-1050 should speak with an advisor prior to registering for this course.
