ITS-2571 - Digital Forensics & Incident Response (3) Prerequisite: ITS-2511 This course provides an in-depth exploration of digital forensics and incident response, leveraging comprehensive methodologies and tools. Students will learn to build and manage effective incident response framework, apply digital forensic techniques to investigate cyber threats, and respond to real-world cybersecurity incidents, including ransomware attacks. The key topics that will be explored are fundamentals of incident response, incident response frameworks, digital forensic techniques, ransomware investigation and recovery, threat intelligence integration, ransomware investigation and recovery, threat intelligence integration, incident response reporting, malware analysis, and proactive threat hunting.
