ENG-2970 - Special Topics: Irish Literature from the 1850’s to the Present (3)

Prerequisite: ENG 1020

This interdisciplinary travel studies course will introduce students to the link between Irish Literature and Irish history from the 1850’s to the present. Through readings, lectures, workshops, seminars and site visits, students will explore how Ireland’s writers have responded to major political and cultural developments over the past two centuries.
