IDS-1010A - Making Connections: A First Year Seminar (3)

For the adult student who has not been in an educational setting for five or more years, this interdisciplinary course through a theme-based orproblem-solving collaboration with peers, faculty and the community, will acclimate students to the college experience. Students will create and implement a research plan, develop oral and written communication skills, learn effective time management and study skills, and discover a connection between academic disciplines.
