This sequence of courses prepares students to work as entry-level clerk typists. Students develop the basic skills necessary to function proficiently in an office setting. Instruction in selected OFT courses is individualized. In addition to scheduled class hours, students develop skills in a supervised laboratory. This program is available fully online. The courses in this program help students to prepare to pass the Microsoft Office Specialist on Microsoft Office certification exams. These include MOS: Microsoft Office Word and MOS: Microsoft Office Excel Exams
The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from institutions to this program is 10.
