Engineering Technology Certificate

This certificate option meets the requirements of new technicians working in an engineering environment. Students develop competencies in general engineering technology skills and study related subjects necessary to develop a sound foundation. Upon completion of the certificate, graduates may choose to continue their studies to earn the degree in Engineering Technology.

No prior experience in engineering technology is required.  The credits in this program count towards completion of the Engineering Technology, AAS degree with a few stipulations:  ELT-1020 is only required in the Electronics area of concentration, and DFT-1370 is only required for the Robotics and Drafting areas of concentration.

The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 27.
