These courses provide the first-level behind-the-wheel training to prepare participants to obtain their commercial truck driver’s license (CDL). Managing various driving situations without accident or incident is demonstrated. Specific skills introduced include shifting, backing, parallel parking and docking. The second level of training for the CDL is included in the Driving Skills II letter of recognition.
The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 3.
