This program provides sufficient knowledge to prepare students for entry-level positions and also serves those already working in the field who wish to update their skills. The student who wishes to earn an associate of arts degree in criminal justice may build upon the courses in the certificate program. Cooperative education is available in this program. The criminal justice and security fields are among the fastest growing, professional career areas worldwide.
