This certificate provides an education in the concepts and application of robotics technology. The core courses in the program are designed to provide an introduction to the study of the robotics field as well as to ensure that students gain a firm understanding of the basic underlying principles. The capstone course provides ample opportunities for students to apply what they have learned with hands-on learning activities using current robotics training equipment and working on real-world projects.
No prior experience in robotics technology is required. The credits in this program count towards the completion of the Engineering Technology, AAS degree, Robotics area of concentration.
The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 15.
