The Honors Curriculum at the College of Southern Maryland offers high-achieving, scholarly-minded students the unique opportunity to engage within a small class-sized cohort. The curriculum entails rigorous classroom instruction with enriched programming, that provides classes focusing on diversity, and global perspectives in a real-world environment, leading to a capstone project.  The invigorating curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, community service, and career preparation with the goal of transforming students into deep-thinking scholars.  The maximum number of credits accepted by transfer from other institutions into this program is 9 credits.
