Graduates of the basic certficate program work as entry-level technicians under the direct suervision of experienced electronics technicians, scientists, and engineers. Graduates will understand the fundamentals of AC and DC circuit theory and will be familiar with a variety of common semiconductor devices and fundamental electronic circuits. Students will be able to operate electronic test equiment including oscillosopes, generators, and both analong and digital multimeters. Students will be able to construct and analuze many important circuits using breadboarding techniques.
The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 24.
