This program option is open to students with no previous experience in electronics. Students will complete the basic electronics technician certificate and advanced courses in microprocessors and computer circuits. Graduates will be able to build, test, repair, and modify, under supervision, microprocessor circuits and equipment; read and interpret digital circuit diagrams, and operate common test equipment. Graduates will work at entry-level positions in the field of microprocessors under the direction of experienced technicians, engineers, and scientists.
The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 22.
