This program emphasizes the importance of balancing the need of society to protect life and property with the need to safeguard individual rights. It prepares students for entry into the service fields of security and private investigation. Career opportunities include: retail security, government industrial security, lodging security, healthcare security, private investigation, and many others. The criminal justice and security fields are among the fastest growing professional career areas worldwide. Cooperative education is available in this program.
