This certificate option will cultivate the entrepreneurial knowledge and skills needed to start, manage, and grow a business. It is designed to introduce small business ownership by providing fundamental skills to start a venture, collaborate with others in joining entrepreneurial ventures, or work as an intrapreneur for an established organization.
The Small Business Entrepreneurship certificate is designed for students interested in exploring the components of small business start-up and operation. Coursework provides new and existing entrepreneurs skills in business planning, management, marketing, customer service, accounting, and business communications.
Courses in this certificate may be applied to the Management Development Associate of Applied Science degree.

Graduating students may obtain employment by launching their own business venture or working for a business in a variety of industries. Graduates of this program will be
