ITS-2620 - Web Graphics and Multimedia* (3)

Prerequisite: ITS 1015 or ITS 1205

Students learn the fundamentals of computer graphics and image manipulation and explore techniques for adding animation and interactivity to web pages. Students will use graphics editing software to create and manipulate graphic images. Students will also utilize a multimedia platform to create animation, advertisements, and various web page Flash components. In addition, students will explore methods to integrate video into web pages. Students will be exposed to concepts important to information technology professionals working in website development, desktop publishing, photography, publications, and graphics design fields. For students who plan to use personal computers, this course may have specific computing requirements.
