OFT-1190 - Business Communications and Ethics (3) Students develop tools for the job search and interview process. Students conduct job research interviews, prepare a resume, cover letter, application form, thank you letter, and participate in a job interview. Students will improve their effectiveness in an office environment by practicing positive interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; examining the importance of communication on a personal, professional, social, and organizational basis. Students examine leadership skills needed in a professional environment to influence task objectives and to motivate others. Ethics, employment discrimination, and principles of supervision and control of the office environment are covered.
