MAS-1015 - Therapeutic Massage I* (4)

Prerequisite: MAS 1001 ; must be 18 years of age or older
Co-requisite: BIO 1040 BIO 1040L

As a continuation of MAS 1001 this course will address the mind-body connection, assessment and preparation of the client, draping techniques, and client-therapist relationships. Students will be introduced to the major massage strokes and will practice these in a lab setting. A grade of C or better is required to pass the course.
