This certificate prepares students for entry-level positions in the information technology field such as Network Associate, Network Support Analyst, Network Technician, Junior Network Administrator. Graduates will be able to conduct network management and maintenance including router and switch configuration, firewall implementation and management, user access control, and network security monitoring.
The courses in this certificate are applicable to the CyberSecurity AAS degree.
The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 12. Credit for Networking 1, 2,3, and 4 may be granted by presenting current Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) credentials.
