The Associate of Science in Engineering (ASE) in Computer Engineering (CE) curriculum is designed for students whose goal is to transfer to a four-year Maryland college or university and earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering. Upon completing the ASE in CE, students will be prepared for junior-level work as a Computer Engineering major. Students may need to strengthen their skills before taking required courses.

The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 49.

Student Learning Outcomes:

Students will…

1. Effectively communicate problem solving processes and solutions, orally and in writing, in an ethical and professional manner.
2. Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering to understand and implement the engineering project development process.
3. Utilize advanced data structures and algorithms for programming.
4. Utilize discrete mathematical structures in the design and analysis of algorithms and software engineering.
