The General Studies Transfer Certificate is designed for students who intend to transfer to a four-year college or university. Completion of this certificate also allows students with the appropriate grade point average to apply for transfer to most four-year institutions based solely on their college course work. All of the credits in the certificate apply to the General Studies Degree and to most of the associate’s degrees at the College of Southern Maryland, so students who decide to remain at the College of Southern Maryland may obtain both a certificate and a degree. This program is fully available online.
The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 23.
