This program follows the National Education Standards developed by the United States Department of Transportation. Graduates are employed in settings associated with emergent patient care such as hospitals, emergency and urgent care centers, fire and rescue squads, ambulance service agencies, and similar organizations.
Students must hold current EMT-B certification for entry into this program. Students are required to provide proof of immunization status, a completed health form, a criminal background check, and a negative drug screen at the student’s expense.
