This Associate of Arts, Music program is designed to prepare students with an interest in music to transfer into a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Fine Arts, or Bachelor of Science (Education) program. This program will also help students form a foundation for directly moving into a performance-based or technical career in music. Students will take coursework in the fundamentals of music theory, ear training, keyboard skills, and music history. Students will pursue performance areas based on their musical instrument in private instruction and ensemble participation. Career opportunities in music include .

About Private Instruction and Ensembles:
All students in the music program option must register for a music ensemble each semester. Additional lessons or ensembles may count as electives.
