PHL-1010H - Honors Intro to Philosophy* (3)

Prerequisite: Reading Placement; or RDG 0800; or take one of the following: IRW-0900A ; IRW-0900B ; IRW-0900C
In Honors Introduction to Philosophy, students survey major philosophical traditions of the world and become acquainted with major philosophers from the time of Socrates to the present. A variety of philosophical questions are proposed and differing answers explored. The honors section is distinguished by analyzing how philosophy is represented in popular culture.
