ART-1200 - Two Dimensional Design (A) (3) This course is an introductory exploration of visual literacy through the elements and principles of two-dimensional design. A wide range of theories, conceptual approaches, and media will develop students’ visual intelligence as they formally identify, interpret, and investigate visual organization. This course satisfies the General Education Arts requirement.
List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Define the elements and principles of two dimensional design.
CO2 - Examine use of two-dimensional design in fine art, graphic design, interior design, and/or additional discipline(s).
CO3 - Implement the vocabulary of design.
CO4 - Distinguish design concepts developed from historic and global viewpoints.
