Topics include the theory, history, organization, and administration of law enforcement including functions and specific activities, planning and research, public relations, personnel and training, inspection and control, direction, and policy formulation.

CO1 - Discuss theory, history, organization, and administration in law enforcement.

CO2 - Apply specific planning and research addressing public relations.

CO3 - Analyze personnel and training, inspection, control, and direction.

CO4 - Identify the behavioral and social skills required of the police manager and supervisor to deal effectively with a rapidly changing community and a cadre of police officers.
