CJS-2200 - Community Policing (3) Students study the relationship between the criminal justice system and the community, and learn recommended ways of working to combat crime through building relationships between stakeholders. Emphasis is placed on policing in a culturally diverse society.

CO3 - Discuss the emphasis placed on policing in a culturally diverse society.
CO4 - Analyze current trends in law enforcement hiring practices as it relates to police-community relations and have the departments represent the diverse makeup of their community.
CO5 - Identify how disorder and fear of crime contribute to friction or cooperation between law enforcement and the community.
