DAN-1090 - Jazz Dance III* (2) Prerequisite: DAN-1080 Students develop an intermediate level of dance fluency and coordination through expansion of their locomotive skills and body isolations. Students learn and execute a more advanced jazz dance routine. Students may have the opportunity to audition for the college dance ensemble or participate in the dance ensemble concert.
List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Prepare, rehearse, and perform solo and ensemble jazz and contemporary repertory.
CO2 - Utilize proper dance techniques to develop body awareness and movement confidence.
CO3 - Use appropriate stylistic exercises to develop physical strength and flexibility.
CO4 - Apply knowledge of choreography to solo and ensemble jazz and contemporary repertory.
