EGT-1015 - Exploring Engineering Technology (3) Students study the varying aspects of the engineering technology profession. Backgrounds, qualifications and career paths are discussed. Selected technical problems and the methodology used to solve them will be presented.
List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Identify the roles of engineering technologists and the opportunities available for employment in various engineering fields.
CO2 - Demonstrate competency with the mathematical order of operations and use of a calculator.
CO3 - Employ methods for determining area and volume using geometry and right triangle trigonometry.
CO4 - Create a presentation analyzing the state of a technology in the field of engineering technology.
CO5 - Analyze the use of computer systems in engineering technology and methods of information security.
