GRY-1110L - Introduction to Physical Geography Lab* (S) (1) Co-requisite: GRY-1110
Students are actively engaged in the material and data with which physical geographers work. Building on knowledge gained in GRY 110 Lecture, students calculate earth-sun relations, construct isoline maps, examine and interpret topographic maps and aerial photographs.
List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Interpret a weather map to understand weather and climate patterns.
CO2 - Utilize a topographic map to analyze natural landscape features such as elevation, relief, and gradient.
CO3 - Identify faults and the corresponding stress that creates them.
CO4 - Use software such as Google Earth to answer questions related to geography.
