HEA-1105 - Comprehensive Medical Terminology (3) This course teaches the students to accurately spell and define common medical terms related to major disease processes, pharmacology categories, diagnostic procedures, laboratory tests, abbreviations, drugs, and treatment modalities for each body system. Case studies and medical reports are utilized to prepare students for using medical terms in context as they are encountered in medical transcription, coding, and other record processing activities
