ITS-1205 - Introduction to Web Technologies* (3)

Prerequisite: College-level reading placement or complete one of the following: IRW-0900A  or IRW-0900B  
Students learn to use Internet and intranet technologies and build simple web documents. Content includes creating basic HTML documents, Cascading Style Sheets, basic client-side scripting, simple forms, and an introduction to the basic concepts of web applications.  

List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections)
CO1 - Create an organized web development workspace.

CO2 - Create basic HTML documents.

CO3 - Format pages using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and best practices.

CO4 - Incorporate links and other navigation features into web pages.

CO5 - Create basic client-side scripting.

CO6 - Create simple forms.

CO7 - Integrate images, tables, and multimedia.

CO8 - Identify basic considerations for website usability.

CO9 - Use web development software to design, code, publish and manage dynamic websites.
