ITS-2185 - Installing and Configuring Microsoft Client* (3) Co-requisite: ITS-2120
This course covers installing, upgrading and configuring the current Windows client, including trouble shooting, security, network connectivity and configuring and maintaining applications. For students who plan to use personal computers, this course may have specific computing requirements. List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Explain terminology and key terms for installing and configuring Microsoft client.
CO2 - Prepare, install, configure, optimize and upgrade Window 10 operating systems.
CO3 - Configure disks, volumes, Virtual Hard Drives and system options using Disk Management and PowerShell.
CO4 - Configure Windows Update options, roll back updates, implement Insider Preview, and optimize high availability and disaster recovery options for Hyper-V.
CO5 - Configure file and printer sharing; configure folder shares, public folders, and OneDrive usage.
