MUS-1070 - Chamber Choir I* (1) Prerequisite: Audition prior to registration Students who participate in this unique vocal ensemble will study, prepare, and perform advanced and complex choral literature selected from a variety of periods. Acceptance to this 16 member ensemble is not automatic, even with satisfactory completion of the course prerequisites. A student must audition prior to registration and will be admitted to the choir on a competitive basis each semester.
List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Perform capstone events (concerts) as part of a chamber choral ensemble.
CO2 - Apply knowledge of a variety of choral styles and genres of music in the chamber style–one voice to a part.
CO3 - Utilize techniques to perform as a collaborative team member in a music ensemble.
CO4 - Apply techniques specific to their vocal type and group role to continue improvement of performance practices in an ensemble setting.
