MUS-2021L - Ear Training Lab IV* (1) Prerequisite: MUS-2011 MUS-2011L Co-requisite: MUS-2021
Students in MUS-2021L expand advanced skills of ear training, sight singing, and dictation and expand the principles of music theory to exercises involving advanced intervals, triads, chromatic and altered chord progressions and inversions.
List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Aurally identify basic pitch, harmonic, and rhythmic elements of music examples.
CO2 - Apply techniques of performing vocal and keyboard to musical examples of co-requisite music theory study.
CO3 - Utilize keyboard skills to demonstrate understanding of pitch, scale, interval, chord, and progression elements of co-requisite music theory study.
CO4 - Employ techniques of dictation and identification of music elements in music examples.
